Dr. Justin Chang

Dr. Chang obtained his Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and his Master degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Miami. He went on and attained his Doctors degree in Optometry at Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Chang believed that his initial training as an engineer has separated him from the typical Doctor of Optometry. He is convinced that his engineering training which focuses on problem solving skills and the ability to harness the best of the new technology have better prepared him in treating and managing eye care to his patients. Because of his background and extended knowledge on computers, he is more keenly aware of eye problems that can be caused from the extended usage of computers. His Biomedical Engineering training at the world renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute has better prepared him with the latest technological advancement in the field Optometry and Ophthalmology. In addition, with the latest development in laser vision correction, Dr. Chang is able to combine his knowledge as an engineer and as an optometrist to better co-manage his patients.

Auri

Auri has worked for Dr. Chang for over 10 years at Eye Tech Eye Center. She works in all aspects in patient care. Auri specializes in frame styling and helping to keep our patients up to date on the newest technology in lenses. Her goal is for every patient to leave our office feeling satisfied and comfortable with our services and products. Auri enjoys spending her free time being a wonderful mommy to her little girl.

Marilyn

Marilyn has been an optometric assistant for Dr. Chang since 2012. Her responsibility is to perform all of the preparatory exam work needed so that Dr. Chang can provide patients with the best eye care possible. Marilyn assists Dr. Chang throughout the examinations and maintains patient charts. Marilyn's goal for Eye Tech is to make patients feel that they chose the right place for all of their eye care needs.

Alma

Alma joined Dr. Chang’s eye care team in 2013. She is responsible for checking in/out patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance benefits and answering any questions patients might have. Alma’s strives to exceed patient’s expectations by making them feel welcome and comfortable as soon as they walk in, and to provide pleasant and professional service throughout their visit. Alma enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

Emilie

Emilie works as an optometric assistant at Eye Tech Eye Center. She joined Dr. Chang's team in December 2013. She proficiently performs pre-examination and special testing here at Eye Tech. She also helps at the front desk and interprets for Chinese patients. Emilie’s goal is to provide a wonderful experience to patients and to see them walk out with a smiling face. She has a passion in traveling and love trying new restaurants. She also enjoy snowboarding, hiking, and swimming on her free time.

Wendy

Wendy has been working with Dr. Chang since 2014. As Optometric Assistant, she helps Dr. Chang by recording and measuring vision, testing eye function, and instructing patients in contact lenses. She also helps interpret for Chinese patients. Her goal at Eye Tech is to provide everyone her best knowledge of eye care and professional service at the visit. On her free time, Wendy enjoys traveling, trying different restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.

Jackie

Jackie is one of the optometric assistants here at Eye Tech Eye Center. Her goal is to provide patients with a welcome and personable experience every visit. She helps gather and record information necessary for Dr. Chang to provide everyone with the best eye care, so that everyone can feel fully informed about their eye health. In her free time she enjoys film, photography, reading, and painting.
